ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS DOOR COUNTY HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT Pulverizing and Hot Mix Asphalt Purchase   The Door County Highway Department will receive sealed bids at 1001 S. Duluth Ave., Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235, until 10:00 am, August 5, 2026, for the Town of Union, LRIP project# 19774, Gardner Road, and will be publicly opened at Town of Union monthly meeting, August 12, 2026, at 6:00 pm, at the Union Town Hall, 905 County DK, Brussels Wi. 54204, Brussels, Wi for the following items:   1. 900 tons of 4LT Hot Mix Asphalt material, for Town of Union, Gardner Road, County N to Gardner Road terminus at Gardner town line, LRIP project # 19774. Hot Mix Asphalt to be loaded onto County Highway Department trucks for delivery and placement at job site. 2. 8,900 square yards of pulverizing, for Town of Union, Gardner Road, County N to Gardener Road terminus at Gardner town line, LRIP project # 19774.   The Town of Union reserves the right to reject any or all proposals submitted, or to accept any part or combination thereof, to waive technicalities, and to accept any proposal deemed most advantageous to the Town of Union.   This work is being bid to comply with the State of Wisconsin, Local Road Improvement Program, which is being used to fund portions of this project and request.   Proposals shall be submitted on forms provided by the Door County Highway Department, 1001 S. Duluth Ave., Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235, and marked “Bids for Gardner Road, Town of Union, LRIP Project #19774”. Copies of same, along with specifications may be obtained from the Door County Highway Department or from the County website: www.co.door.wi.gov, and go to bids and for sale.
