ORDINANCE NO. 103 ORDINANCE ANNUAL BUDGET AND APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE OF THE CENTRAL WARREN COUNTY FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING JULY 1, 2026 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2027 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CENTRAL WARREN COUNTY FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT: SECTION I: That the following sums of money, or so much thereof as may be authorized by law, and as may be needed, which are deemed necessary to defray all necessary corporate expenses and liabilities of The Warren County Fire Protection District be, and the same are, hereby appropriated for the corporate purposes and objects of the said Fire Protection District hereinafter specified, for the fiscal year commencing on the 1st day of July, 2026, and ending on the 30th day of June, 2027; SECTION II: For current expenses of the Fund to be known as the General Fund, the sum of $230,000.00 is appropriated by the general levy, and $800,500.00 from other sources than the Tax Levy to be apportioned as follows: Column 3 Column 2 Amount to be Column 1 Amount to be Raised from Total Amount Raised by Tax Sources other Appropriated Levy tHan Tax Levy 1. Debt Repayment Exp. $ 30,000.00 0.00 $ 30,000.00 TOTAL $1,030,500.00 230,000.00 $800,500.00 SECTION III: That in addition to the sums herein appropriated, there is also hereby appropriated, for the use of said District, all moneys received from legal reserve fire insurance companies operated outside the State of Illinois, as a two (2%) percent contribution to said Fire Protection District, together with all fees charged and paid to said Fire Protection District, for services of its equipment outside of said Fire Protection District, during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2027. SECTION IV: That any and all unexplained balances of appropriations and budgets made by this Ordinance may be expended in making up deficiencies in all other items of appropriations and budgets made by this Ordinance and may be used and applied toward payment of any lawful corporate debts or charges against the said The Central Warren County Fire Protection District. SECTION V. That any and all sums of money heretofore appropriated and budgeted and not heretofore expended, and now in the Fire Protection District treasury, or that may hereafter come into said treasury, are hereby re-appropriated and budgeted by this Ordinance. SECTION VI. That the invalidity of any section or portion or item of this Ordinance shall not affect the validity of any other part thereof which can be given effect without such invalid parts. SECTION VII. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days after its passage, approval and due publication, as required by law. SECTION VIII. That balance on hand at the beginning of the fiscal year is approximately $732,484.27. The estimated revenue for the current year is $250,000.00 from all sources. The estimated expenditures for the fiscal year are approximately $225,00.00. The estimated balance at the end of the year is $757,848.27.
