The Etna Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, starting at 6:00 p.m. at the Etna Township Administration Building, 81 Liberty Street, Etna, Ohio.
The application submitted by Brent Ward, for the property located at 91 Sycamore Creek Rd SW, Etna, OH 43062, within the R-2 Zoning District, requests a variance to construct an accessory structure in excess of the allowable 800 sq. ft. maximum. Section 1005.1 of the Etna Township Zoning Resolution allows a maximum of 800 sq.ft. of accessory structure to be constructed in this zoning district.
The proposed variance application will be available for examination for a period of at least ten (10) days prior to the public hearing at the following location: The Etna Township Administration Building, 81 Liberty Street, Etna, Ohio between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday and Friday by appointment. If a meeting needs to be cancelled it will be decided at least two hours prior to the meeting and notification being placed on the township website, and radio station WCLT 100.3FM will also be notified.
