The Etna Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, starting at 6:00 p.m. at the Etna Township Administration Building, 81 Liberty Street, Etna, Ohio.
The application submitted by 310 Center LLC, c/o James Cotugno, for the property located at 10156 Palmer Rd, Etna, OH 43062, within the GB-1 General Business Zoning District, requests a variance to install an 8' high chain link fence in front of the principal structure along Palmer Rd. Section 1005-G of the Etna Township Zoning Resolution states no accessory structures are permitted within the front yard, except decorative fences located a minimum of one foot outside of the road right-of-way (ROW) and low enough to ensure safe ingress and egress on a parcel adjacent to a public road.
The proposed variance application will be available for examination for a period of at least ten (10) days prior to the public hearing at the following location: The Etna Township Administration Building, 81 Liberty Street, Etna, Ohio between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday and Friday by appointment. If a meeting needs to be cancelled it will be decided at least two hours prior to the meeting and notification being placed on the township website, and radio station WCLT 100.3FM will also be notified.
