ADVERTISEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES Qualification Statements will be received by the Caddo Parish School Board through August 7, 2026, for the purpose of selecting Architects and Engineers to provide professional services for Capital Construction projects. The Caddo Parish School Board (CPSB) has a need for professional architectural and engineering services from time to time. It is the intent of the board to review the need for those services and to appoint a competently qualified architect or engineer accordingly in an objective and equitable manner, preferably whose principal offices are located in Caddo Parish. Professional services are required for renovation and new construction projects. The types of projects for which selections will be made include: Building construction/renovation Roof replacement/waterproofing Heating, air conditioning & ventilation systems Electrical wiring Fire alarms & fire safety Accessibility compliance Environmental compliance Drainage/paving   Firms shall submit qualifications on AIA Document B305, “Architect’s Qualification Statement” 2021 Edition, to the Construction and Capital Projects Department, Caddo Parish School Board, 1961 Midway, Shreveport, Louisiana 71108. (Engineers shall substitute “Engineer” for “Architect” on the forms.) Staff to aid their selection process shall use the following guidelines. These guidelines are not all-inclusive nor individually exclusive: experience in school design, prior work with the CPSB, date of last employment by the CPSB, size of the firm and staff expertise, present workload, creative design ability, and aesthetics, ability to meet design timelines and budget estimates, fee distribution among the firms, visitation to firms’ projects, willingness to consult with CPSB staff on educational program & specifications, and evaluation of prior work performed for the CPSB and evaluation by other owners.
