NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING   TO THE CITIZENS OF THE CITY OF WAYNESBORO, VIRGINIA   TAKE NOTICE that on July 27, 2026, at the regular meeting of City Council at 7:00 p.m., to be held in the Council Chambers, Charles T. Yancey Municipal Building, at 503 West Main Street, Waynesboro, Virginia, the City Council intends to amend the Fiscal Year 2027 budget and will consider the adoption of the following ordinance;   An Ordinance to amend the FY 2027 Budget for the City of Waynesboro, by adding the following Budget Amendment. A brief synopsis of the proposed budget amendment is stated below:             General Fund                                       $3,459,552           Water Fund                                                263,425           Sewer Fund                                                123,536           Refuse Fund                                               206,000           Total Budget Amendment                 $4,052,513   The City Council will also consider an ordinance to amend the FY 2026 Budget for the City of Waynesboro, by adding the following Budget Amendment. A brief synopsis of the proposed budget amendment is stated below:             School Fund                                         $6,670,000   All hearings shall be open to the public.
