SANTA BARBARA MTD INVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB) FOR JANITORIAL SERVICES The Santa Barbara Metropolitan Transit District (MTD), a public transit operator, is accepting bids for daily janitorial services at its three facilities: Terminal 1 (Administrative Offices & Bus Maintenance Facility) at 550 Olive Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101; Transit Center (Downtown Passenger Hub) at1020 Chapala Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101; and Terminal 2 (Satellite Dispatch & Bus Maintenance Facility) at 5353 Overpass Road, Goleta, CA 93111. Invitation for Bids (IFB) packages will be available to interested parties starting Monday, July 20, 2026. Prospective bidders may obtain a package by contacting purchasing@sbmtd.gov or by visiting MTD’s website at https://sbmtd.gov/about/doing-business/. A mandatory pre-bid meeting and job walk will be held on July 29, 2026, starting promptly at 9:00 AM at the Terminal 1 Administrative Office (550 Olive Street, Santa Barbara). The job walk will begin on schedule and continue with a guided visit to each of the three project sites. (Note: Bidders must provide their own transportation between sites.) Sealed bids must be received at 550 Olive Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101, no later than August 12, 2026, at 2:00 PM, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
