INVITATION TO BID: The New York, Susquehanna and Western Railway Corp. (NYS&W) is receiving bids for the REHABILITATION OF BRIDGE 21.69, in Paterson and Hawthorne, NJ. The NYS&W Railway (the “Owner”) will receive bids for this work in accordance with the Contract Documents together with such addenda as may be issued prior to the date of receipt of bids. A SIGNED Bid Form must be delivered to said office of The New York, Susquehanna and Western Railway Corp., 1 Railroad Avenue, Cooperstown, NY 13326 or received by email no later than August 14, 2026 at 4 PM at which time they will be privately opened. There will be a mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting at 10 AM on August 5, 2026 at the bridge site on Ryerson Way beneath the bridge. All bidders are hereby notified that compliance with the most recently published and applicable NJ Prevailing Wage Rates will be required in the performance of any Contract awarded. During performance of the Contract, the Contractor agrees to comply with P.L. 1975, c. 127 (N.J.A.C 17:25), “Law Against Discrimination”, current regulations. The successful bidder will be required to comply with the conditions and requirements set forth in the Contract Documents and to obtain a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond for the full amount of the Contract. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in any bid or bids, or reject any and all bids, and to accept any bid or bids and to make such awards as may be in the best interest of the Owner.
