In general, the major work items include: The milling, grading, and replacement of existing asphalt pavement sections at the Truckee Meadows Water Reclamation Facility Headworks and Effluent Reuse Pump Station, and replacement of two cattle guards on Clean Water Way. Work includes removal and replacement of existing pavement, curb and gutter, valley gutter, manhole and vault collars, concrete driveways, and other miscellaneous work as outlined in the specifications. The Bidders attention is directed to Nevada Revised Statutes 338.01165 setting forth the requirements for the use of apprentices on public works which requires a contractor or subcontractor to comply with certain requirements relating to the use of apprentices on public works.
