Disaster Recovery Management Services including Application Development, Grant/Program Management and Other Related Services
By virtue of and in conformity with the provisions of Act 70 of the 1946 Regular Session of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, as amended, and other applicable laws, sealed submissions will be received by the Lafourche Parish Government at the Lafourche Parish Office of Emergency Preparedness, 4876 Hwy. 1, Raceland, LA 70394, on or before August 26, 2026, at 4:30pm CST at which time and date such proposals will be accepted for Disaster Recovery Management Services.
Lafourche Parish Government (LPG), on behalf of itself and all political subdivisions related to parish government and welfare, is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to perform disaster recovery program management services, including but not limited to application development; management of awarded grants or other programs compliance requirements, deliverables, procurement, contractors, deadlines, records, and requests from funding agencies; management of local funding and insurance proceeds; assistance with individual damage assessments for homes after any disasters; debris removal coordination; and other obligations as mutually negotiated to be included in contract requirements. These projects may be tied to any natural or man-made disaster that affects the residents of Lafourche Parish, including but not limited to storm damage, wind damage, sink holes, tornados, floods, oil spills, and etc., whether the disaster has previously occurred or has yet to occur. Proposers should expect to clearly illustrate a wide and extensive range of experience with diverse funding sources and programs and the laws and regulations governing participation and compliance with these programs. Proposers should expect that the contract will be task based and time limited rather than tied to a particular grant or disaster. All responses received will be evaluated in accordance with the selection criteria and corresponding point system that is identified in the request for proposals. Lafourche Parish Government will award the contract to the respondent obtaining the highest score in the evaluation process.
