Firms must be pre-qualified by the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT)under the Railway Engineering or Railway Planning categories.   The City of Peoria’s Engineering Division will accept sealed proposals submitted to the Office of the CityEngineer, Public Works Building, 3505 Dries Lane, Peoria, Illinois, 61604, until 2:00pm ThursdayAugust 13, 2026, for establishing a contract with qualifying firms.The Request for Qualification document can be downloaded at https://www.peoriagov.org/390/Bidding-Letting. Interested firms should submit six (6) hard copies of an original proposal and one (1) electronic(via USB or similar) copy of a Statement of Interest and Qualifications. E-mailed submittals will not beaccepted.All firms contracting with the City of Peoria must have current certification through the City’s EqualOpportunity Office. Compliance with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act is required under this contract.
