NOTICE OF Ordinance Code City of Holland Publication of notice for long grass/weeds.   In accordance with Ordinance 1507 approved by City Council with an effective date of July 24, 2008, the City of Holland hereby notifies the citizens of Holland that a growth of weeds, grass, or other untended vegetation exceeding 8 inches in height is a violation of Section 19.11 of the Holland City Ordinance. Our inspectors will post properties found in violation, and a contractor will cut the grass, weeds, or other untended vegetation if not brought into compliance with the ordinance within 48 hours. The actual cost plus a $100.00 administrative fee will be billed to the property owner. Failure to pay will result in a lien against the property. This notice is deemed and declared to be adequate and sufficient notice to all persons affected hereby.
