Ground Vegetation Control
In compliance with the New Jersey Pesticide Control Code, N.J.A.C. 7:30-9.10, Notice is hereby given that the Burlington County Public Works Department, Division of Roads & Bridges, 251 Rancocas Road, Mt. Holly, New Jersey may be applying herbicides around County owned Traffic Control Devices, Concrete Medians and Guide Rails for the control of vegetation growth on an area-wide basis as needed in Burlington County during the period of May 1, 2025 through October 31, 2025, at approximately 8am to 3pm, Countywide.
The herbicides to be used in the vegetation control program via a truck mounted liquid sprayer application and will be applied in accordance with EPA/NJDEP regulations: Accord (EPA #62719-536) 2 gal/200gal, Viewpoint (EPA# 432-1580) 1 gal/200gal, Esplanade (EPA# 15-1516) 70 oz/200 gal, Clean Cut Drift Control, 4 oz/200gal. Upon request, the Burlington County Roads & Bridges Department shall provide a resident with notification at least 12 hours prior to the application, except for Quarantine and Disease Vector Control only, when conditions necessitate applications sooner than that time.
