The City’s wastewater collection system is comprised of two water reclamation plants, approximately 700 miles of sewer pipe, and 14,400 manholes and cleanouts. The City’s stormwater drainage system consists of approximately 190 miles of storm drainpipe, 22 miles of open channels, 800 acres of retention basins and five monitoring stations. The City budgets approximately $50 million annually for water, wastewater, and stormwater distribution system repairs, replacement, and maintenance.

This JOC will include work tasks as required on wet utility pipeline construction projects including the rehabilitation and replacement of water, reclaimed water, wastewater, and stormwater distribution systems located within public right of way and easements. It may also include ancillary work within other city owned properties.
