1972 Corvette LT1 (only 1,741 LT1’s were sold in 1972). This was the final year of the C3 chrome bumpers front and rear. Actual mileage is just over 65,000 miles.
Numbers matching 350ci/255hp LT1 engine with 280 lb-ft torque. Equipped with new Holley 4-barrel carburetor sitting atop an original aluminum intake manifold. Current owner has a matching numbers Holley 4-barrel carburetor which will come with the vehicle. Correct Ontario Orange Firemist paint (code 987). Original 4-speed transmission and positraction (3.36 ratio) rear axle. Interior is the original black leather seats (code 404) and door trim panels with wood-grained accents and lower carpeting plus console with wood-grained accents. Equipped with power steering, power brakes and AM/FM radio. Removable T-top and rear window. Seat belts with lap and optional custom shoulder belts. Tires are BF Goodrich Radial T/A.
The current owner purchased the vehicle in November 1994 and it was represented that there were two previous owners. The vehicle has been garaged in Phoenix, Arizona for over 31 years. The vehicle was meticulously restored (including repaint to original factory color) approximately 10 years ago and has been garaged since that time. The vehicle is in great condition inside, outside and mechanically and is rust free. Owner for past 31 years has all service and restoration records during that time.
