2026 April Special Election

2026 April Special Election April Special Election will be held on April 21, 2026. The deadline to apply for an absentee ballot by mail is April 10. The deadline to register to vote is April 14. In Person Early Voting begins March 6 and will end April 18. Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Early voting will be available the two Saturdays prior to Election Day, same hours. Early voting is available to everyone; no excuse required! Note: Early voting availability will follow the schedule set by the City of Staunton for holidays/inclement weather.
