NOTICE TO BIDDERS Pursuant to the provisions of KRS 424.260, the Kenton County Airport Board (Owner) will receive competitive sealed bids for the Backup Airport Operations Center (AOC) Construction project at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (Airport) located in Boone County, Kentucky (the "Project"). Bids will be received no later than 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 19, 2026. No bids will be accepted after that time unless extended pursuant to an addendum issued by the Owner. This Project is for general contracting services to perform selective demolition and reconstruction of a new Backup Airport Operations Center (AOC). The Backup AOC will be located in the currently "abandoned" control tower at CVG's South ARFF facility. The scope includes removing the raised flooring system and redundant control console, followed by reconstruction with new finishes and MEP upgrades as outlined in the project specifications. A Pre-Bid meeting and site visit will be held Thursday, February 26, 2026 at 10:00 am ET, at South ARFF Station #1, 2100 Tower Drive, Hebron, KY 41048. Please RSVP by February 25, 2026, through KCAB's online bidding system https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/cvgairport. Select Backup Airport Operations Center (AOC) Construction then click on Events RSVP and provide the name of the person attending. NOTE: Although attendance at the pre-proposal meeting is not limited, the subsequent walkthrough is limited to a maximum of two (2) persons per company. Bidders shall provide a Proposal Bond in an amount not less than 5% of the total main bid amount as specified. The Owner, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. §§ 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, notifies all bidders or offerors that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and no businesses will be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin (including limited English proficiency), creed, sex (including sexual orientation and gender identity), age, or disability in consideration for an award. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or irregularity in any bid or bid guaranty, to reject any or all bids, to award or refrain from awarding a contract for the work, and to negotiate with the apparent qualified responsible bidder to such extent as may be beneficial to the Owner.
