45-DAY PUBLIC COMMENT: MODIFYING EHA'S HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER WAITING LIST SELECTION CRITERIA Due to HUD's revised expiration date notice for funding of Emergency Housing Vouchers (EHV), EHA proposes to amend the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) waiting list selection process by adding a local preference for approximately 20 families currently receiving housing assistance through an EHV. This preference would allow EHV families to be added to the HCV waiting list and be selected before non-EHV families on the waiting list. EHA will apply for the HUD waiver to eliminate the threat of EHV families losing housing assistance due to a lack of continued EHV funding. HSPAXLP September 19 2025 LSBN0372532
