Sealed bids for this project will be accepted until 2:00 pm on February 13th, 2026. At that time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The bid opening will be held at the Cleveland County Water Office at 715 Polkville Rd.
The proposed work consists of replacing water lines damaged by Hurricane Helene. Plan set #1
includes seven creek crossings consisting of 553 LF of 4" Ductile Iron waterline, 1,527 LF of 6"
Ductile Iron waterline, 332 LF of 12" Ductile Iron waterline and all other associated
appurtenances. Plan set #2 consist of one CMP culvert crossing with 162 LF of 4" Ductile Iron
waterline and all other associated appurtenances required for successful project completion, as
described and shown on Plans and Special Provisions prepared by TGS Engineers.

Each proposal must be made on the blank forms provided in the "Contract Documents". The proposal forms and an entire copy of the executed "Contract Documents" must be enclosed in a sealed envelope and addressed to:

The name, address and license number of the bidder must be plainly written on the outside of the envelope and the envelope marked (in letters of 1/4" or more) " HURRICANE HELENE REPAIRS".
Bids may be held by Cleveland County Water for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days from the date of the opening of Bids, for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders prior to the Award of the Contract; and such Bids may not be withdrawn during said period of time.
This project is being funded as a whole or in part by FEMA.
