ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID Harlem Consolidated School District 122 New Dust Collection System Project at Harlem High School Bids are invited from Qualified Mechanical Contractors acting as Prime Contractors or General Contractors. The work includes but is not limited to installation of a new dust collection system and related ductwork, piping, controls and electrical connections at Harlem High School. The Work also includes structural reinforcement of the precast wall panels at new duct penetrations, new concrete equipment pad and pipe bollard, as well as cutting and patching of existing conditions. The Work is to be awarded as a single contract and will include all work shown. See the drawings and specifications for additional information. A Bid Security of 10% of the Bid is required with the proposal. The Contractor shall not pay less than the prevailing rates of wages to all laborers and workmen performing work under this contract and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Wages of Employees on Public Works Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). Sealed Bids, submitted in duplicate, for the Contract shall be received on or before, but not later than 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 9, 2025, and addressed to the attention of: Mr. Josh Aurand, CSBO Harlem Consolidated School District 122 Harlem Administration Center 8605 North Second Street Machesney Park, IL 61115 Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time in a location to be designated at the District Office. Bidders are invited to be present at the bid opening. A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held Wednesday, December 31, 2025 @ 8:30 a.m. at Harlem High School, 9229 North Alpine Road, Machesney Park, Illinois 61115. Contractors are to enter at the farthest east entry on the north side of the building.
