Central Kitsap Fire & Rescue (CKFR) – Request sealed bids for CKFR Station 41 project, Bid No. 2025-STA41BUILD-50-01.
The Work comprises the demolition of an existing 10,000 sqft fire station, existing training tower and existing site paving, the construction of an approximately 14,680 sqft, fire station. The fire station will include 4 apparatus bays, living and sleeping quarters for 8 personnel, and working and living areas for personnel.
ADD ALTERNATE 1 comprises a combined Wash Bay and Fuel Station, this includes a 2,280 sqft steel canopy, equipment room, wash equipment, and a bidder designed and permitted above ground fuel tank and fuel dispensing equipment.
The estimated cost range for this project is $14,500,000 – $15,000,000.
The bids shall include all Work pursuant to the Drawings and Project Manuals, and Addenda(s) issued prior to bid opening date.
Part 1: CKFR will receive Sealed Bids at: CKFR Station 41, 7600 Old Military Rd NE, Bremerton, WA 98311, starting at 10:00 AM to no later than 11:00 AM, February 25, 2026. Bids will be publicly opening and read aloud at the above address for the project.
Part 2: HVAC, Plumbing & Electrical subcontractor work listings is due at the same time as Part 1 on February 25, 2026. Shortly after 11:00 AM, bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after the day and hour stated in this section may not receive consideration.
Part 3: Prior to 11:00 AM on February 27, 2026, within 48-hours of the time and date for the Receipt of Bids, bidders shall submit Structural Steel & Rebar Installation subcontractor work listings to CKFR Administrative Building, 5300 NW Newberry Road, Suite 101, Silverdale, WA 98383. Shortly after 11:00 AM subcontractor work listings will be publicly opened and read aloud. Work listings received after the day and hour stated above will not receive consideration. Owner reserves the right to postpone the Bid opening. Part 3 may be turned in with Part 1 and 2 or shortly afterwards.
A non-mandatory, but highly encouraged, pre-bid meeting will be held on February 4, 2026 between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM at Station 41. The meeting is intended to provide a general review between bidders, owner, and architect prior to bidding the project. Any changes resulting from this conference will be made by Addenda following the meeting.
This project is subject to meet Washington State prevailing wages rates. All work performed on the project will be subject to the approved wage determination rates in the bid documents.

Contractors may obtain plans and specifications from American Reprographics Company (ARC), 632 Broadway, Tacoma, WA 98402, telephone (253) 383-6363 fax (253) 272-4064 upon the deposit of $150.00. Please make checks payable to Rice Fergus Miller Arch. Interiors Planning. Plans must be returned in good condition within seven (7) days following bid date to obtain a refund of deposit. After seven (7) days, no refunds will be made. Plans and specifications may be viewed at the following plan center, Builder's Exchange of Washington, Everett, WA.
At Bidder's sole expense, additional sets of Drawings and Project Manuals can be obtained from the American Reprographics Company (ARC) Public Plan Room on their website at https://order.e-arc.com/arcEOC/ARCPlanRoom.aspx. A Bid Security must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive minor irregularities in the bidding process, and to accept the bid deemed best for them.

Substitution Requests: Architect will consider request for substitution received no later than ten (10) working days prior to receipt of Bids. Requests received after that time may be considered or rejected at the discretion of the Architect.
