South Bend International Airport South Auxiliary Parking Lot
Phase 2 – Drainage Improvements
Sealed Bids for the construction of the St. Joe County Airport Authority, South Bend International Airport South Auxiliary Parking Lot Phase I Project will be received by the St. Joe County Airport Authority, 4477 Progress Drive, South Bend, IN 46628 until Thursday, January 22nd at 11:30 AM Local Time, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read in the St. Joe County Airport Authority Board Room, 4477 Progress Drive. The project consists of the construction of a new storm sewer line between two existing basins at the airport.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis. Two (2) copies of the Sealed Bids bearing the project name as well as the name and address of the bidder shall be submitted to: Jeremy Yahwak, Project Manager, 4477 Progress Drive, South Bend, IN 46628.
Bidding documents will be available on Tuesday, January 6th. Electronic contract documents can be obtained online from the Abonmarche website, found at http://www.abonmarche.com/bids. There is no fee for registration on the plan holder's list and download of electronic bidding documents. Hard copies are available from Abonmarche Consultants, Inc. 315 West Jefferson Boulevard, IN 46601, (574)-232-8700. The fee for obtaining hard copy documents is Fifty Dollars ($50.00). An additional Ten Dollars ($10.00) will be charged for plans requiring shipping. General Specifications, description and conditions upon which the bid proposal is to be based are on file for examination at the office of the Engineer, Abonmarche Consultants, Inc. 315 West Jefferson Boulevard, IN 46601.
A certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid will be required with each bid as security for the proper execution of the contract. A 125% Labor, Material, and Performance Bond will be required of successful bidder. Bidder shall submit Indiana State Form 96 and be certified to do work in the State of Indiana. Additional Bidding requirements are in the Instructions to bidders included in the Project Documents.
There will be no pre-bid meeting for this project.
No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled opening without consent of the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informality in bidding or to accept the bid, consistent with law, which best serves the interest of the Owner.
