ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS MARION TOWNSHIP BEN VENUE ROAD IMPROVEMENTS PHASE 2 Notice is hereby given that the Marion Township Board of Supervisors will receive sealed bids for the Ben Venue Road Improvements Phase 2. The improvements consist of adding gravel and storm drainage to the existing roadway. All bids will be in writing and delivered by hand, Fed Ex, or mail to 485 Hartzell School Road Fombell, PA. 16123 All bids must be received by 1:00 PM, Prevailing Time, on Tuesday, July 28, 2026. Bids will be open and read aloud shortly thereafter. Bids received after the time set for receiving bids will be rejected and retuned unopened to the bidder. All interested parties are invited to attend. Specifications and bid forms may be secured from Marion Township Office at the above address. Each bid shall be submitted on the bid form provided. Bids are to be sealed and plainly labeled - "BID -Ben Venue Road Improvements Phase 2." A performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded. Final completion must be performed by October 31, 2026. Questions about the bid must be in writing and directed to Marilyn Zona and faxed to 724-452-6619. A pre-bid conference will be held at 9:00 a.m., prevailing time, July 16, 2026, at the Owner's office listed in this Advertisement For Bids. Conference attendance is mandatory unless prior arrangements with the engineer are made. The Bids of those Bidders not in attendance at the pre-bid conference or meeting with the engineer on site will be rejected. The Marion Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to waive irregularities in bids, to reject any or all bids with or without cause, and to award the bid that it determines to be in the best interest of Marion Township.
