ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS NORTH TOPSAIL BEACH,NC NTB FLOODING IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT General Notice The Town of North Topsail Beach (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: NTB Flooding Improvements Project WKD Project #20240793.00.WK Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the North Topsail Beach located at 2008 Loggerhead Ct., North Topsail Beach, NC 28460, until Tuesday, March 10th, 2026 at 10:00 AM EST local time. At that time, the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project includes the following Work: Gray Street Location: Construction of a proposed infiltration system at the northern end of Gray Street, which will reduce flooding on NC-210 – Island Drive. The proposed infiltration system includes approximately 614 linear feet of 15" RCP (Reinforced Concrete Pipe), approximately 40 linear feet of 4" PVC force main, three (3) standard NCDOT traffic bearing drop inlets, a sand separator and pump station, electrical controls & panel, and minor utility relocations. New River Inlet Road Location: Construction of a proposed level spreader with vegetated filter strip, and permeable pavers at the North Topsail Beach Town Park along New River Inlet Road. These systems will reduce flooding on New River Inlet Road. The proposed system includes approximately 235 linear feet of 12" RCP (Reinforced Concrete Pipe), one (1) standard NCDOT traffic bearing drop inlet, one (1) standard NCDOT type D drop inlet, approximately 375 linear feet of shallow swale, 1750 square yards of permeable pavers, and minor utility relocations. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The Project has an expected duration of: 150 days to Substantial Completion and 180 days to Final Completion. Obtaining the Bidding Documents The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: W.K.
