ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed Bid Proposals will be received by Construction Administration, The University of Alabama, at the Procurement Services Annex, 405 Cahaba Circle, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404, September 23, 2025 until 3:00pm local time for construction of the Bryce Hospital HVAC Controls Upgrades - Jace 7 Service Area, UA Project #1008-25-3909, at which time they will be opened and read. General Contractors, Prime HVAC Contractors, Controls Subcontractors and Prime HVAC Controls Contractors are required to prequalify prior to bidding or performing work. UA HVAC Master List will not apply for this project, but waiver requests will be allowed. Prequalification submissions must be received by 5:00pm local time September 9, 2025. Late submittals will not be accepted. A mandatory pre-bid conference for General Contractors will be held at the Conference Room of the Procurement Services Annex at the above address at 3:00pm local time September 16, 2025 and continue on to the job site. Preliminary Drawings and Specifications are open to public inspection and will be available for EXAMINATION ONLY starting August 29, 2025, at The University of Alabama, Office of Construction Administration Plan Room, 1115 14th Street, Ancillary Services Building, Second Floor, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401.
