ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed Bids for construction of new security bollards at Greencastle-Antrim Elementary School and Greencastle Primary School will be received on a lump sum basis in the following separate contract categories by Greencastle-Antrim School District (Owner) at 360 South Ridge Avenue, Greencastle, PA 17225 until 10:00 AM on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at which place all bids received will be publicly opened and read immediately afterward: Combined bids only for the projects are invited in each of the following separate contract categories: Contract No. 1 - General Construction The Architect is EI Associates, P.C., 2001 North Front Street, Building No. 3, Harrisburg, PA 17102-2118. The Architect assumes no responsibility for information derived from incomplete sets of documents or for issuing addenda to entities who obtain documents from sources other than the Architect. Documents will not be available for examination at the Architect's office. Documents may be available at the following locations: Pennsylvania Builders Exchange, Pittsburgh, PA; Altoona Builders Exchange, Altoona, PA; Lebanon County Builders Association, Lebanon, PA; Northeastern Pennsylvania Contractors Association (NEPCA), Pittston, PA; Lehigh Valley Contractor's Association, Bethlehem, PA; ConstructConnect; and Dodge Data & Analytics. A Non-Mandatory Pre-bid Conference will be held for prospective bidders on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at 12:00 P.M. Greencastle-Antrim School District, ACE Building Conference Room, 360 South Ridge Avenue, Greencastle, PA 17225. Arrangements to visit the project site must be made through John Stevenson, Director of Maintenance and Facilities, 717-813-4295. All visitors to the site are required to announce themselves at the District ACE Building and to comply with sign-in and identification procedures established by the School District. Except as provided by law, bids shall be irrevocable for sixty (60) days after bid opening date, unless award of contracts is delayed due to required approvals of another governmental agency, sale of bonds, or the award of a grant or grants. If so delayed, bids shall be irrevocable for one hundred twenty (120) days in compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement Code. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a certified check, a cashier's check or a bid bond of an approved Surety Company in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid. Check or bond shall be drawn in favor of Greencastle-Antrim School District. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof and to waive, at its discretion, any or all irregularities, mistakes, omissions, or informalities relative thereto.
