ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed bids for the procurement of Ultrafiltration Membrane Equipment will be received by South Blount County Utility District, at 320 Partnership Parkway, Maryville, TN 37801 until 2:00 PM local time on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The contract includes furnishing ultrafiltration membrane modules, associated appurtenances, and integration of new equipment into the existing SCADA system. Bids will be accepted exclusively from suppliers for a single prime contract. The contract will be awarded based on a lump sum bid outlined in the bid form. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office of Cannon & Cannon, Inc., 10025 Investment Dr. Suite 120, Knoxville, TN 37932, 865-670-8555 on Mondays through Thursdays between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, or by email from Wesley Powell at wpowell@cci-corp.com. Only those entities that obtain copies of the Contract Documents from the Issuing Office will be eligible to bid. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. The deadline to submit questions is March 17, 2026 at 5:00 P.M. local time. All questions shall be sent in writing to Wesley Powell (wpowell@cci-corp.com), no verbal questions or responses will be accepted. Bid security shall be furnished in the amount of five percent of the total bid amount in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds each in the amount of 100 percent of the Bid. Owner's right is reserved to reject all Bids or any Bid not conforming to the intent and purpose of the Bidding Documents. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Award will be made to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder.
