City of Marianna (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
Reconstruction of Marianna Office Supply Bldg.

Bids for the Project will be received at the City of Marianna Administrative Office located at 2895 Jefferson Street, Marianna, FL 32446, until Tuesday, May 26, 2026, 2:00 PM local time. At that time, or shortly thereafter, the Bids received will be publicly opened and read at the Marianna City Hall Commission Chambers located at 2897 Jefferson Street.
The Project includes the following Work:
The reconstruction of the former Marianna Office Supply Bldg damaged by Hurricane Michael into a boutique hotel. The building is a total of 23,700 sf consisting of two stories plus a full basement area. Includes complete reconstruction including architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing.

Pre-bid Conference
A non-mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 10 AM local time at the office of Melvin Engineering located at 4428 Lafayette Street, Marianna, FL. A site visit will follow the conclusion of the pre-bid meeting.

For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.
Small business and minority businesses, women's business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit proposals, and firms using such subcontractors are strongly encouraged to solicit such firms in the subcontracting process. Any Contracts/subcontracts issued under this procurement must comply with the necessary affirmative steps to assure that minority businesses, women's business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are used when possible, in accordance with 2 CFR § 200.321.
