Sealed bids for the above project will be accepted through Quest vBid electronic bid service until the bid deadline; and then immediately after, publicly opened and read aloud. The bid opening will be held at the Algoma City Hall, 416 Fremont St., Algoma, WI 54201 and also broadcast live via Microsoft Teams Meeting. A non-mandatory, pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday May 14, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. CDT on the project site, Olson Park, N8108 WI-42, Algoma, WI 54201.
Description of Work: Construction of Stormwater ponds, Restored native habitat, Archery range relocation, Asphalt parking lot, Concrete sidewalk, and Final Restoration of all disturbed areas. This project will consist of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the construction of Olson Park Restoration-Phase I located in the City of Algoma.
Bidding Documents: Complete digital bidding documents are available at www.questcdn.com for $22. Reference QuestCDN project number 10187372. Bids will be received and accepted via the online electronic bid service through QuestCDN vBid online bidding for an additional $20.

Legal Provisions: The Contract letting shall be subject to the provisions of Sections 62.15 and 66.0901 of the Wisconsin Statutes.
Right to reject bids: The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, the right to waive irregularities and informalities in bidding, the right to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional bids, and the right to accept the bid which best serves the interests of the City.
Contract Security: The bidder to whom a Contract is awarded shall furnish a Performance Bond for the full amount of the Contract within 10 days of award or execution of the Contract. The Performance Bond shall contain a provision to increase the Performance Bond by the amount of any change orders that might increase the amount of the Contract price. If such bidder fails to execute and file such Contract and Performance Bond, within the 10-day period, the check, bond, or bank draft accompanying the bid shall be forfeited to the City of Algoma as liquidated damages.
Bid withdrawal: The City reserves the right to postpone the award of the contract and no bids shall be withdrawn for a period not exceeding 60 days after the date and time set forth in the Bid Opening. The City further reserves the right to retain the bid security of the three (3) lowest bidders during that time.
