ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS HENDERSON WATER UTILITY NORTH WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT DEWATERING IMPROVEMENTS HENDERSON, KENTUCKY Sealed Bids for the construction of the North Wastewater Treatment Plant Dewatering Improvements will be received by Henderson Water Utility at 111 Fifth Street, Henderson, Kentucky 42420 until 10:00 a.m., Local Time on the 5th day of August 2026, at which time the Bids received will be opened and read aloud. The Project consists of constructing: General construction of dewatering facilities including, new pump vault, new electrical building, and new dewatering equipment installation including sitework, yard piping, structural, architectural, process piping and equipment, plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical and instrumentation and control. The Bidding Documents are on file for inspection at the HWU Bobby Gish Administration Building: 111 Fifth Street, Henderson, KY 4242. PRE-BID CONFERENCE: A pre-bid conference will be held prior to the Bid opening on July 15, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the HWU Bobby Gish Administration Building: 111 Fifth Street, Henderson, Kentucky, 42420, to familiarize Bidders with this Project. BID SECURITY: Bid Security in the amount of not less than 5% of the Bid shall accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. CONTRACT SECURITY: The Bidder to whom a Contract is awarded shall furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in an amount equal to the Contract Price. BID REJECTION/ACCEPTANCE: The Henderson Water Utility reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in whole or in part and to waive informalities and/or technicalities in the bids. Conflicts of interest, gratuities and kickbacks as defined and provided for in K.R.S 45A.455 are absolutely prohibited.
