AFTON FIRE DISTRICT LEGAL NOTICE PUBLIC MEETING PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Afton Fire District in the Town of Afton, County of Chenango, State of New York, will hold a Special Meeting on Monday September 29, 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Afton Fire Station located at 15 Spring Street, Afton, New York. This meeting will be a Workshop to discuss the 2026 budget, as well as any other business that is brought before the board, followed by the adoption of the proposed budget. All meetings of the Board of Fire Commissioners are open to the public. This notice is being publicized and posted in accordance with the provisions of Section 104 of the Public Officers Law of the State of New York by order of the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Afton Fire District.
