ANNOUNCEMENT OF LOCATION AND DESIGN CONCEPT ACCEPTANCE Malabar Road from St. Johns Heritage Parkway to Minton Road Project Development & Environment Study Brevard County, Florida Financial Project Identification (FPID) # 437210-1-28-01 Federal Aid Project ID # D519-067-B Efficient Transportation Decision Making (ETDM) # 14396 On December 3, 2025, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), pursuant to 23 U.S.C. § 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated May 26, 2022, and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and FDOT, granted Location and Design Concept Acceptance for the Malabar Road from St. Johns Heritage Parkway to Minton Road Project Development & Environment (PD&E) Study. The proposed improvements consist of widening Malabar Road from two lanes to four lanes, including a shared-use path on the north side of the road, a sidewalk on the south side of the road, and intersection improvements.
