ANNOUNCEMENT OF LOCATION AND DESIGN CONCEPT ACCEPTANCE Clearlake Road (State Road (S.R.) 501) Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study From Michigan Avenue to Industry Road Brevard County, Florida Financial Project Identification (FPID) No: 433605-1 Federal Aid Project ID No: D524-034-B Efficient Transportation Decision Making (ETDM) No: 13120 On March 24, 2026, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), pursuant to 23 U.S.C. § 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated May 26, 2022, and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and FDOT, granted Location and Design Concept Acceptance (LDCA) for the S.R. 501 PD&E Study from Michigan Avenue to Industry Road. The proposed improvements consist of widening the existing two-lane roadway to a four-lane divided urban roadway. This project will now proceed to the next phase of development.
