ANNUAL ELECTION OF THE DANBY FIRE DISTRICT

ANNUAL ELECTION OF THE DANBY FIRE DISTRICT NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Election of the Danby Fire District will take place on December 9, 2025, between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at the Danby Fire Station located at 1780 Danby Road, Town of Danby, Tompkins County, New York, for the purpose of electing one Commissioner for a five (5) year term, commencing January 1, 2026, and ending December 31, 2030. All residents of the Fire District duly registered with the Tompkins County Board of Elections as of November 17, 2025, shall be eligible to vote. Candidates for District Office shall have filed their names with the Secretary of the Danby Fire District, 1780 Danby Road, Ithaca, NY 14850 no later than November 19, 2025 at 5:00 p.m.. Request shall include office sought, candidate's printed name, address, signature, and date. The Election Officials will meet at 5:30 p.m. on December 9, 2025, to prepare the register for the Election. This notice is given pursuant to Town Law, Section 175(1).
