ASBURY PARK BOARD OF EDUCATION BOARD VACANCY The Position: The Asbury Park Board of Education is seeking qualified candidates to fill a vacancy on the Board. The term will begin upon appointment by the Monmouth County Interim Executive County Superintendent until the January 2027 Board Organization Meeting. Qualifications: A citizen of the United States of America At least 18 years of age Able to read and write A resident of the City of Asbury Park for at least (1) year preceding the date of appointment Not directly/indirectly interested in a contract with a claim against the Board Registered to vote in the district Not disqualified as a voter pursuant to NJSA 19:4-1 Has not been convicted of any crime of the first or second degree or other crimes set forth in, and pursuant to NJSA 18A: 12-1 To apply: Any qualified Asbury Park resident interested in serving the children of our school district should submit a letter of interest clearly marked, "Asbury Park Board of Education Vacancy" to: Lester W.
