ATTENTION COLONIAL HEIGHTS PET OWNER The City of Colonial Heights issues lifetime license/tag for dogs and cats over four months of age. If you have not already purchased a lifetime license for your dog or cat, tags are due no later than January 31, 2026, a late fee of 25% will be assessed if purchased after the due date. The cost for male or female animal is $25.00, for neutered or spayed animal is $10.00. A current rabies certificate and if applicable, a spayed and/or neutered document must be provided. Lifetime License/tags remain valid with a current rabies certificate on file If purchasing by mail or the city drop box, please enclose all necessary documents, payment and a self-addressed stamped envelope.
