AUDITS 031126 L E G A L N O T I C E Notice is hereby given that the fiscal affairs of the Horseheads Central School District for the period beginning on July 1, 2024 and ending on June 30, 2025 have been examined by Mengel Metzger Barr & Co. LLP, an independent public accounting firm. The report for the Single Audit and the report for the Extra-Classroom Activity Funds Audit have been filed in the office of the Superintendent of Schools. It is available as a public record for inspection by all interested persons during normal business hours at the District Business Office, 143 Hibbard Road, Horseheads, NY, or can be viewed on the district's website at www.horseheadsdistrict.com. Pursuant to section thirty-five of the general municipal law, the governing board of the Horseheads Central School District may in its discretion, prepare a written response to the report of the Single Audit and the Extra-Classroom Activity Funds Audit by the independent public accountant and file any such response in the office of the Superintendent of Schools and on the district's website as a public record for inspection by all interested persons not later than March 21, 2026.
