Sealed bids for the Fox Meadows Drainage Improvements project will be received by Kuhn & Trello Consulting Engineers, LLC, 109 N. 7th Street, 3rd Floor, Springfield, IL until 10:00 A.M. Prevailing Time, October 28, 2025, and then at said location publicly opened and read aloud.

Description of the Project is as follows:
This project consists of culvert and storm sewer installation with the removal and replacement of HMA pavement.
Attention is called to the fact that only bid proposals that cover ALL THE WORK will be accepted and read aloud by the City. Partial bids will not be accepted.
PDF copies of the Contract Documents and Specifications may be obtained at no charge by contacting the office of Kuhn & Trello Consulting Engineers, LLC, 109 N. 7th Street, 3rd Floor, Springfield, IL 62701, 217-679-0044. Hard copies may be obtained at the same address at a cost of $250.00 per set. The cost of hard copies is non-refundable.
Bid proposals shall be accompanied by data sufficient for the City to evaluate the bidder's qualifications to do the work, including but not limited to a list of 3 projects for units of government similar in size, cost, and scope in which the Bidder was the prime contractor and completed in the past 5 years. References for such projects, including name, position, phone number and if available, e-mail address, shall also be provided with the proposal. Failure to supply the project information will be considered an incomplete bid proposal and withdrawn from consideration.
Attention is called to the fact that this project is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Law. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Furthermore, this contract is available to minority and women contractors. Bidders shall actively solicit minority and women subcontractors and shall maintain records of their solicitation process.
Attention is called to the fact that this project is subject to the Public Construction Bond Act, 30 ILCS 550/1, and the successful bidder shall be required to provide a performance and payment bond in the amount of the contract in such form and manner as required by that Act.
A certified check or bank draft, payable to the City of Leland Grove, negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable Surety in an amount equal to Ten Percent (10%) of the total Bid shall be submitted with each Bid for each Contract.
The City reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bids, any or all bid items, or to waive any informalities in the bidding, and/or award process.
Bids may be held by the City for a period of 30 days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding the Contract.
