Advertisement for Bid Pocono Family YMCA The Pocono Family YMCA is soliciting bids, for General Contractors under a single prime contract per AIA A101 Stipulated Sum Agreement, for the Additions and Renovations on the Pocono Family YMCA campus at 809 Main Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360. This project is subject to compliance terms established by the following public funding sources: USDA, HUD, RACP and LSA, which require at minimum: Payment & Performance Bonds; Davis Bacon Wage Rates; Minority, Women and Disadvantage Business Participation; Section 3 Employment Participation; Building American Buy America ACT and US Steel ACT. Bidding Documents may be examined online by visiting www.usaplanroom.com. Project R2022.0084.02 located in "Public Jobs". This will take you directly to the project for viewing or ordering. Digital Bid Documents may be ordered at no cost. Bids will be received at the Pocono Family YMCA, at 809 Main Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360, on or before 2:00 pm, January 23, 2026. The outside of the envelope shall indicate "Bid for Additions and Alterations at the Pocono Family YMCA" and be addressed to the attention of Mr. Scott Peckins. Each bid must be accompanied by a proposal guaranty, in the amount stipulated in the contract documents, in the form of a certified check, bank cashier's check, trust company treasurer's check or bid bond, in the form prescribed in the Contract Documents, with satisfactory corporate surety, authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, naming as payee or oblige as applicable) the Pocono Family YMCA. Each bid must also be accompanied by AIA A305 - Contractor's Qualification Statement and associated supplement, and any and all additional requirements as indicated in the contract documents. The bids received will be opened, reviewed and vetted privately. Upon careful consideration, selection and authorization by Authority, a 'Notice of Award' will be issued to the successful bidder. This award will be publicly announced at the Pocono Family YMCA at a date and time to be establish by the Authority, which will be publicly announced. Upon receipt of the 'Notice of Award', the successful bidder must furnish: the Payment and Performance Bonds as prescribed in the Contract Documents; evidence of required insurance as detailed in the Contract Documents; and a signed and notarized Form of Agreement in the form provided in the Contract Documents, all prior to receiving a 'Notice to Proceed' Child Clearances will be required by the Contractor for all active members of the work force as defined within the Contract Documents. Except as expressly provided for in the Contract Documents, no proposals may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date specified for the receipt of the bids. The timeline for the project is prescribed within the Contract Documents. The Pocono Family YMCA reserves the right to reject any bid that is not in compliance with the 'Instruction to Bidders' and Contract Documents; or the 'Bid Form' itself if not completed as directed within.
