The Owner, the Valley Central School District will receive sealed bids to furnish material and labor to complete the Valley Central School District - Capital Projects which includes renovations and alterations. Each bid shall be on a stipulated sum basis for the following contracts:

BID INFORMATION
Sealed bids will be received until the time indicated below. Bids received after this time will not be accepted and returned to the Bidder unopened. Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud after specified receipt time. An abstract of Bids received will be made available via www.csarchplanroom.com.

BIDDING DOCUMENTS
It is the intention of this Project to be both environmentally and fiscally conscious of paper use and consumption. Therefore, documents will be distributed as digital sets. Bidding Documents, Drawings, and Specifications may be viewed online free of charge beginning 12-15-2025 at www.csarchplanroom.com under 'Public Projects', or electronically downloaded for a non-refundable fee of one-hundred dollars ($100.00).
Complete sets of Bidding Documents, Drawings, and Specifications, on compact disc (CD) or USB flash drive may be obtained from Rev, 28 Church Street, Warwick, New York 10990 Tel: (845) 651-3845, upon depositing the sum of one-hundred dollars ($100.00). Checks or money orders shall be made payable to Valley Central School District.
Deposit is refundable in accordance with the terms in the Instructions to Bidders to all submitting bids. Any bidder requiring (CD's) to be shipped shall make arrangements directly with the printer and pay for all packaging and shipping costs.
Any bidder requiring paper copies of the Bidding Documents, Drawings and Specifications shall make arrangements directly with the printer and pay for all printing, packaging and shipping costs. Such costs are non-refundable.
Bidder must provide Bid Security in the amount and form, per the terms indicated in Section Instructions to Bidders. All Bids will remain subject to acceptance for forty-five (45) days following the receipt of Bids. The Owner may, in its sole discretion, reject any Bid and return Bid Security prior to that date.
A full performance bond, together with labor and material payment bonds in form acceptable to Owner shall be required of the successful Bidder for the full contract amount.
A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 11:00am EST on 1-2-2026 beginning at East Coldenham Elementary School located at 286 NY-17K, Newburgh, NY 12550. Bidders are advised to assemble at the Main Lobby, immediately inside the building's main entrance. Walkthroughs will commence after the Pre-Bid Conference at Berea Elementary School, Valley Central Middle School, Valley Central High School, Montgomery Elementary School, and Maybrook Alternative Learning Center. Attendance of this meeting is recommended as the Owner, Architect and/or consultants will be present to discuss the Project.

Bids shall not include New York State sales and compensating use taxes on materials and supplies incorporated into the Work, as the Owner being exempt therefrom. Bidders must comply with New York Sate Department of Labor Prevailing Wage Rate Schedule and conditions of employment.

This project is publicly funded. The Bidders must comply with New York State Department of Labor Prevailing Wage Rate Schedule and conditions of employment.
The Valley Central School District reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bids received, and/ or to reject all Bids without explanation.
