Advertisement for Bids Renovation for Union Township Building - Electrical Bids will be received by Union Township at Webster Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning at 15495 Murray Road, Union City, PA 16438, until 4:00 P.M., prevailing time on Thursday, October 9, 2025. Bids will be opened publicly at 6:00 P.M. at the Township Building located at 16450 State Highway 8, Union City, PA. The bid is for the Renovations for Union Township Building which includes Electrical work. A mandatory pre-bid meeting shall be conducted on October 2, 2025 at 3:00 pm at the Union Township Building, 16450 State Highway 8, Union City, PA. The purpose of the meeting is to review the specifications and site conditions. Contractors failing to attend the pre-bid meeting will not be permitted to bid, and if a bid is submitted it will be disqualified. All bids shall be submitted as a lump-sum amount for work under an electrical prime contract. Bids shall not be withdrawn for a period of 120 days after time designated for receipt of bids. The work shall be completed in accordance with the Drawings prepared by Struxures LLC, 3545 at State Route 257, Seneca, PA 16346. Specifications and drawings for bidding purposes may be obtained by contractors from Struxures LLC's representative: Harold R. Best, hbest@struxures.com, 814-676-1432. Single copies can also be obtained at a cost of $50.00 each. Bid Security in the amount of 10% of the bid must accompany each Bid. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds for 100% of the contract amount and a Maintenance Bond in the amount of 10% of the contract amount. Contractors will be required to pay a minimum of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates to all workers on these projects. Bids shall be marked "Renovations for Union Township Building - Electrical, Project 023-25, Thursday, October 9, 2025". The owner is not required to accept the lowest bid proposal received and reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, and to waive any informalities in the bids.
