Advertisement for Bids NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that separate and sealed Bids will be received by the Borough of Ambridge on September 3, 2026, at the office of the Borough, 600 11th Street, Ambridge, PA 15003, until 1:00 P.M., prevailing time. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time and awarded at the Borough's regular monthly meeting on September 8, 2026 at 7:00 P.M., for the following work: Critical Road Infrastructure Improvement Project Contract No. 1-26 This work consists of milling 2,400 S.Y. and repaving approximately 2,400 S.Y. 9.5mm Superpave Fine Wearing Course and 4,300 S.Y. FB-2 Wearing Course at Hazel Avenue and Glenwood Drive, 4th Street, 11th Street, 12th Street, 13th Street and 14th Street. The contract documents and proposal forms may be examined and sets of drawings, specification and contract documents may be obtained at the office of Nichols & Slagle Engineering, Inc., Airport Office Park, 333 Rouser Road, Building 4, Suite 600, Moon Township, PA 15108, upon a non-refundable fee of $50.00 for each set of electronic documents or $75.00 for each set of hard copy. A Bid Security comprised of a certified check or bid bond drawn to the order of Ambridge Borough executed by the bidder and a surety company satisfactory to the Borough, in an amount equal to not less than ten percent of the total amount of the Bid must be submitted with the proposal. All proposals shall be submitted in accordance with the INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS, BID SUBMISSION. Ambridge Borough hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to reject any or all Bids submitted; and also reserves the right to waive any informality in bids received, but any contract work awarded will be to the lowest, responsive, responsible Bidder for each contract or combination of bids. Except as otherwise provided by law, no Bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the Bid Opening. Ambridge Borough Mario N.
