Annual Election Notice NOTICE OF ANNUAL ELECTION APALACHIN FIRE DISTRICT Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Section 175, of the Town Law of the State of New York, that the annual election will be conducted by the Apalachin Fire District of the Town of Owego, County of Tioga, State of New York, at the Apalachin Fire Station 1, 230 Pennsylvania Ave, Town of Owego, County of Tioga, New York, on the 9th day of December 2025 between the hours of 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm for the purpose of voting to elect: One (1) member of the Board of Fire Commissioners to serve a term of five years commencing on January 1, 2026 and ending on December 31, 2030. Please take further notice that each candidate for said District Office shall file their name in writing to the Apalachin Fire District Secretary, Katrina Kemmery, PO Box 572, Apalachin NY 13732. Notification must be received no later than the 27th of November 2025. All residents of the Apalachin Fire District who are registered with the County Board of Elections on or before the 19th of November 2025 and resided within the said Fire District for a period of thirty (30) days preceding the Election shall be eligible to vote.
