Asheville City Council Public Hearings - July 28, 2026
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Asheville will hold the following public hearings at its regular meeting at 5:00 p.m. on the 28th day of July, 2026, in the Council Chamber, located on the 2nd Floor of City Hall, located at 70 Court Plaza, Asheville, N.C.:
1. To amend the conditional zoning of 301 E. Chestnut Street, and further identified on the Buncombe County tax maps and records as PIN 9649-63-6041, for the purpose of amending project conditions.
2. To consider conditionally rezoning 3862 Sweeten Creek Road, and further identified on the Buncombe County tax maps and records as PINs 9654-44-4259 and 9654-44-1465, from RM-16 Residential Multi-Family High Density to Residential Expansion - Conditional Zone.
NOTE: In considering any application for a change in the zoning classification of property, the City Council may rezone the property to a less intensive classification than was requested, and/or may rezone a smaller area of the property than was requested.
