Asheville City Council Public Hearings - June 23, 2026 Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Asheville will hold the following public hearing at its regular meeting at 5:00 p.m. on the 23rd day of June, 2026, in the Council Chamber, located on the 2nd Floor of City Hall, located at 70 Court Plaza, Asheville, N.C.: 1. To rezone 99999 Deaverview Road, and further identified on the Buncombe County tax maps and record as PIN 9628-16-9246, from RM-8 Residential Multi-Family Medium Density to RM-16 Residential Multi-Family High Density. 2. To rezone 3 S. Tunnel Rd, and further identified on the Buncombe County tax maps and records as PIN 9658-13-5696, from Urban Place to Regional Business. 3. To consider a temporary moratorium on data center approvals within the City of Asheville. NOTE: In considering any application for a change in the zoning classification of property, the City Council may rezone the property to a less intensive classification than was requested, and/or may rezone a smaller area of the property than was requested.
