NOTICE TO BIDDERS - ICE CREAM VENDING
NOTICE is hereby given that sealed bids will be received for four (4) vending licenses, three (3) truck and one (1) pedicycle license, for the year 2026, for the peddling of ice cream (including the peddling of water, water ice, soda, candy, beverages and related snacks) by the Municipal Clerk until Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the Beach Haven Municipal Building Court/Meeting Room, 300 Engleside Ave., Beach Haven, at which time said bids will be opened and read in public.
Specifications and bid forms are on file in the office of the Municipal Clerk, 300 Engleside Ave., Beach Haven, N.J. 08008 (609-492-0111 X216) and may be obtained by prospective bidders at said office during regular business hours - 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, or via email (smason@beachhaven-nj.gov). Bids may be submitted by mail or in-person prior to the time for receiving and opening same. The Borough of Beach Haven is not responsible for lost or destruction of any bids mailed or delivered to the Municipal Clerk prior to the time set for bid opening.
Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the MUNICIPAL CLERK and clearly marked on the outside: "ICE CREAM VENDOR BID."
Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. (P.L. 1975, C. 127) and N.J.A.C. 17:27 regarding equal employment opportunities and P.L. 1977, c. 33 regarding corporate and/or partnership ownership.
The Borough of Beach Haven reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities as the interest of the Borough may require.
All bidders shall submit, with their bid, evidence of State of New Jersey Business Registration issued by the New Jersey Department of Treasury.
