BID- ROLLER HOCKEY RING
Receipt of Bids: Separate sealed bids on forms prepared by the Engineer will be received by the Town of Woodbury, Town Clerk, 615 Route 32, PO Box 1004, Highland Mills, NY 10930 until 2 p.m. on June 16, 2026, for the Town of Woodbury Municipality Existing Acrylic Surface (Hockey Rink) Project - Resurface, Repair and Conversion in accordance with Bid Form.
The project consists of the following:
• Coordinate with the Town of Woodbury Supervisor or his/her designate.
• Remove all surface debris from the court as needed prior to repairs.
• High pressure washing, utilizing 3000+ psi pressure washer to remove all dirt, mildew, and other contaminants from the entire surface area. Water to be supplied by facility.
• Asphalt repairs are to be performed prior to acrylic surface installation including all cracks to be milled and asphalt patched.
• Furnish and install one (1) coat of Laykold Rust Suppression System. Laykold Qualipur 152 (two part polyurethane primer & rust blocker) to be applied to the entire surface.
• Furnish and install fiberglass mesh overlay over the entire surface.
• Furnish and install acrylic resurfacer to any repaired areas.
• Furnish and install two (2) coats of Laykold NUSURF Flexible Acrylic Resurfacer to the entire court area.
• Furnish and install two (2) coats of Laykold Advantage Textured Color Coating as per approved layout of (6) pickleball courts. Up to (3) color layout (Standard Colors – TBD)
• Furnish and install the layout, tape, and spray application paint for 2" white lines for six (6) pickleball courts. White Lines.

The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, utilities, and incidentals necessary to complete the Work in accordance with the Bid Form.
Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 11 a.m. on June 2, 2026, at the Earl Reservoir Park, 1 Coach Wilson Trail, Highland Mills, NY 10930.
Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 2 p.m. on June 16, 2026, at the Town Hall, 615 Route 32, Highland Mills, NY 10930
The information for Bidders, and other Contract Documents may be reviewed at the Office of Town of Woodbury Clerk, 615 Route 32, Highland Mills, NY 10930.
Each bid shall be accompanied by an acceptable form of Bid Guarantee in an amount equal to at least 5% of the amount of the Bid, payable to the Town of Woodbury as a guarantee that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute the Contract and file acceptable Performance and Payment Bonds within ten (10) days after the award of the Contract.

The Town of Woodbury hereinafter called the Owner, reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any formality or technicality in any Bid in the interest of the Owner.
STATEMENT OF NON-COLLUSION
Bidders are required to execute a non-collusion bidding certificate pursuant to Section 103d of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York.
Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements relating to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Segregated Facilities, Section 109, and Executive Order 11246. Bidders are also required to comply with the provisions of Sections 291-299 of the Executive Law of the State of New York and all other applicable laws and regulations.
The Town of Woodbury hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in regard to any Contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex or national origin in consideration for an award.
