NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: The undersigned has appealed to the Planning Board of the Borough of Allenhurst for a Certificate of Appropriateness, Historical Review and Variances on behalf of the Applicant Jack Imir so as to permit the complete demolition of the existing residence and new construction of a proposed three-story, wood-framed, single family residence with a detached, wood-framed, one car garage, masonry front covered entry, covered outdoor sitting, covered outdoor parlor, covered outdoor living room, covered side porch, and covered balconies on the second floor with outdoor pool and pool patio located at 16 Corlies Avenue, Allenhurst, New Jersey 07711, also identified on the Borough Tax Map as Block 4, Lot 3, with the architectural style components and materials for the proposed new residence to be compatible with those found within Allenhurst and particularly within the beachfront area where the subject property is located.
The following Variances are requested: (1) pool setback from the curb where 100 feet are required and 67.87 feet are proposed, (2) residence height where 35 feet (2.5 stories) are permitted and 38.34 feet (three stories) are proposed, (3) pool distance to residence where 10 feet are required and 6.5 feet are proposed, and (4) such other Variances as may be deemed required.
A Public Hearing will be held before the Borough of Allenhurst Planning Board on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at 7:30 PM at the Allenhurst Municipal Building located at 125 Corlies Avenue, Allenhurst, New Jersey 07711 at which time you may appear either in person and/or by attorney, and present any comments or objections you may have to the Application.
Plans filed by the Applicant are available for inspection during regular business hours at Borough Hall, 125 Corlies Avenue, Allenhurst, New Jersey 07711. It is suggested to call ahead to schedule such inspection of documents and plans.
