BOROUGH OF COLLINGSWOOD PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that on the 27th day of October, 2025 at 7:00 PM, local time, a public hearing will be held before the Collingswood Consolidated Planning Board ("Planning Board") at the Collingswood Community Center, 30 West Collings Avenue, Collingswood, New Jersey, Camden County, at which time all interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard. The Planning Board will consider the application of Acreage CCF New Jersey, LLC (the "Applicant") who is seeking approval for a conditional use variance, along with any other necessary variances and waivers, for signage on the building located at 35 East Crescent Boulevard, Collingswood, NJ 08108 Block 1.05, Lot 2.01 (the "Property").
Pursuant to Resolution No. 2024-09 dated April 22, 2024, Applicant was granted conditional use approval, minor site plan approval, and change of use approval to operate a Class 5 cannabis retail facility at the Property. The Property is currently operating as a cannabis retail facility known as "The Botanist."
Applicant is seeking a conditional use variance for purposes of signage on the building. Pursuant to Ordinance Section 141-101(C)(4)(b), Applicant is permitted to have three (3) nonexempt signs on the building with no more than two (2) nonexempt signs on any building face. Applicant is proposing three (3) wall signs on the North, South, and East faces of the building which all read "The Botanist Outlet Dispensary." The Applicant is proposing a projection sign on the East face of the building which reads "The Botanist Outlet Dispensary." As Applicant is requesting four (4) total signs and two (2) on one building face, a variance is required.
All documents relating to this application may be inspected by the public between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. in the office of the Borough Clerk in the Municipal Building located at 678 Haddon Avenue, Collingswood, New Jersey.
All interested parties shall be provided with the opportunity to be heard at the public hearing of the Consolidated Planning Board of Adjustment on October 27th, 2025, at 7:00 PM and shall be entitled to testify before the Board and/or question the Applicant. The Consolidated Planning Board of Adjustment may continue the application and you are advised to contact the Secretary of the Consolidated Planning Board of Adjustment at the Municipal Building in order to confirm the date and time of the hearing.
