BOROUGH OF OAKLAND COUNTY OF BERGEN, NEW JERSEY ORDINANCE NO. 25-WATER CODE-978 "Ordinance Amending and Supplementing Chapter XIII, Sections 10.2 and 10.3 of the Oakland Code Regarding Water Fees." This ordinance amends the Borough Code to revise the water utility minimum quarterly charge and the tiered consumption charge schedule for usage above 6,000 gallons per quarter, effective January 1, 2026. The minimum quarterly charge will be $64.50 for up to 6,000 gallons, with additional per-1,000-gallon rates applied in increasing tiers based on total quarterly consumption. These changes reflect capital and operating costs associated with PFAS compliance requirements, inflationary increases, and overall utility expenses. All other provisions of Chapter XIII not inconsistent with this amendment remain in full force and effect.
